Retribution is the most subtle of arts, None may elude the Chosen's deadly stare, Nor the Blade slipped quietly into unwitting hearts, Naught is sweeter than those final cries of despair. Mark well thine loved ones, their tortured screams, The Serpent strikes swiftly from shadows few can see, Regret manifests in gentle streams, Those tears of sorrow are so dear to me. And where swords and arrows cannot pierce, Beware Her wings: the merciless Crow, A well placed word, coldly fierce, Will forever blot out joy's soft glow. Writhe vainly in those grasping talons, Pray for mercy, retract your offence, As crimson blood is spilt by the gallon, Naught is sweeter than Vengeance.
