To far off land I cast my sight From torpid desert, listless light Did fall and wane and tremble still This iron heart, this iron will That stands with triumph at the head At Peshwar's mouth, in Sapience stead Was cursed, called and fell replete With glory, streaming, golden heat Alas, fair city, perfect jewel A soul of silver, clean and cruel Will cut with haste, pull down the shroud Of darkened mountain, screamed aloud Oh Shallam, lo, thy name is blessed! To rise above, to be professed! With light and love strike down the hate The streameth now from Mhaldor's gate And purify the land of blood The weeps from wounds in poisoned mud Where sword had pierced the tainted hide Cast down Shaitan, in darkness blind To fall beneath the waves of time Be kissed by silence, frozen rime And always standing, flaming domes Will steal the sunlight, warrior's home The ever rising Jewel of the East In the name of Good, an endless feast
