A young novice, acting against the wishes of his House, ate a rather mysterious mushroom in the Black Forest and was not heard from again for quite some time. When he finally returned, his speech and actions were fairly unintelligible, and an enterprising theif relieved him of his only remaining possession - a journal - as the novice carried out a vivid, passionate conversation with a statue on the highway near the Crystal Leaf Inn.

Said thief, who will remain nameless, took great joy in reading the ramblings of the young novice, and shared them with me. I have chosen to share them with you, both for entertainment purposes and to serve as a warning to those who enjoy eating strange food and "visiting strange places."

A Dream of Lord Pentharian

A gleaming sword, a regal knight,

A winged being of radiant light,

The banishment of darkest night,

The joy of Evil taking flight,

And chivalry to spare!

A yearning for Compassion's Hand,

Pursuing Chaos 'cross the land,

A disappearing Order band,

Yet speech and actions oh-so-grand,

Greet him? I wouldn't dare!

A Dream of Lord Neraeos

I hopped aboard a sailing boat

And tried my best to stay afloat,

But when I became quite remote,

Some pirates (who were most cutthroat)

Accosted all my crew!

Then Neraeos, with power Divine,

Sent creatures bearing fangs canine

To chase the fiends towards the shoreline

But my title was less-than-fine,

And so they chased me, too!

A Dream of Lord Shaitan

It is a strange feeling, it's true,

To dream of having been run through

With one's own sternum, limbs askew,

And thoughts of life, you must eschew,

For such a feeling hurts!

But pain does not exist in dreams,

And so as I'm alive, it seems,

That Shaitan takes things to extremes,

With bloodsteel shrines and bloody streams

that flow from non-converts.

A Dream of Lady Indrani

A thousand words, a single sound,

And Sinfulness to go around,

My Lust and Envy newly found,

I spin the ladies 'round and 'round,

'fore taking them to bed.

And in my dream, my prowess shows,

And every single surface glows,

I'm positive everyone knows

Of how my Pride now grows and grows,

'til it spills from my head!

A Dream of Lady Mithraea

"The bright light really hurts my eyes,"

I complain, but then theorize;

A master plan I soon devise

To share with all the gals and guys

Of how to see the light.

I must confess, my master plan

Would prevent one from getting tan,

As it involves not much more than

Sleeping throughout the long day's span.

Just watch the moon at night!

A Dream of Lord Pandemonium

A pleasant thought had crossed my mind,

But suddenly I came to find

All that I loved was left behind,

Slowly, my teeth began to grind

At troubles in my life.

The hand of this odd Divine Child

Seemed to cause things to go wild -

What formerly had been so mild,

Led me to feeling most reviled

All hail the Lord of Strife!

A Dream of Lady Valnurana

The Lady, with Her several wings,

Revealed to me most glorious things,

The sights of which pulled my heartstrings.

And while I wined and dined with kings,

The Lady's eyes brightened.

Then suddenly, my flesh dissolved

While all my company evolved,

To little spirits! Now involved

In puzzles that could not be solved,

I awoke, mildly frightened.

A Dream of a Hookah

With flailing tubes and glossy bowl,

The Hookah slowly takes control,

And coaxes me to my bedroll...

The smelly smell of burned charcoal...

...a hookah is Divine?

Now... what is this? A little cat

Adorned with a peculiar hat.

I never would imagine that...

...a note? I'll read it. Wait, wombat?

A mushroom? I'll decline.

A Dream of many Dreams

Oh look! A man, made out of stone!

Pardon me, sir - oh, please don't groan -

One question, then you'll be alone,

Might I explain what I've been shown?

I might? Oh joy! This month

I saw so many glorious things -

Why goodness, snapper, had I wings,

I would ha... here, have my earnings!

While I discuss my new feelings.

Here, take my j----
