Moonlight Kiss

Moonlight paints her face with wonder

as she gazes over sea.

The ocean hums hypnotic motion,

back and forth, so endlessly,

to heal her heart and shroud her spirit

in the mists of mystery.

Ourania Trisagia

becomes her beacon in this night,

to guide her steps forever forward

with Her everlasting light.

She spreads her arms and rises high,

like an Atavian in flight.

Just like the ocean she will gaze

forever upwards to the sky,

to where the faces of the moon

will smile as they are passing by,

to warm her world with mystic murmurs

and leave a twinkle in her eye.

Now with a sigh she leaves behind

the girl that she no longer is.

She says goodbye to all that was

and all the things she'll never miss,

because this night she has been blessed

by an eternal moonlight kiss.
