I hear the clanging, the breaking, the destruction. The merchant city takes on new citizens. As I rest in the forest, I bleed the empathy of my fellows. The sun beats down on the workers, clearing out trees and plants to accomidate for their lust of power and material worth. At night, the moon looks over the sleeping citizens, and I hear its weeping.
My wielders, the forestals of this land, lose their lives, their homes, and
their groves. The animals entreat me for help, though I can accomplish nothing.
I am only able to rest in my state and watch as thousands of lives are destroyed
by greed. My mother, Lady Gaia, looks down upon the destruction before her eyes
and pains as much as I.
Pain. Sorrow. The death continues. My mother pushes forward to do what she can
as more forest and animals lose their lives for walkways and buildings. She
joins herself with a new organisation. Two of my beloved adventurers, Mysti and
Mandrake, form the Council of Oakstone with Mother's help. They strive to put an
end to this madness.
It grows. These workers, thinking only of themselves and what is to come take
down even more. My sorrow grows as large amounts of the Ithmia fall to these
axes and ropes. These men don't consider their actions; no begging can stop
them. They have obliviously begun a war which they cannot win. My Mother feels
she must take action.
Lord Lupus, the ruler of all beasts within, is asked to return by my Lady Gaia.
His assistance is needed and given, sending out His vicious beastly werewolves
to act against these destroyers. This newly expanding city is attacked by beasts
under the command of their God, and more futile death comes of it. Lord Twilight
sees His city being destroyed. His outrage still does not match my Mother's, and
the attacks continue.
Finally. The Dark God has come to an agreement. Expansion and destruction
cease. In the billowing aftermath of it all, the new Hashan has been born.
Sadness fills my heart and pain overcomes my senses. Recovery is nigh impossible
as I remember what has passed. The new Oakstone Council strives to protect
against more death from this point on, and Mother looks sadly upon the loss to
Her realm. It has ended, yet continues.
I am Nature. I have a voice.
