Clacks and clanks and rattled bones, and eerie breezes blow
This time of year, hauntingly clear, a season we all know
With bony steeds and spider webs, and eyeballs all afloat
The undead cheer, the vampires grin, the ghoulish legions gloat
Night's moons are full, the wind it howls, the jackolantern jeers
The candied bugs and jelly slugs, they sugar coat our fears
The costumes donned, the masks they take a life all of their own
Adven'trurs turn from folks we know to ghasts that wail and moan
Decorations all about, casting low-light, eerie glows
The moon's red hue with blotted spots of squawking, pitch black crows
So know this well, and heed my words, the lines read inbetween
When spooks and spirits all abound, you'll know it's Mayaween
