The homunculus is a diminutive creature loyal to the alchemist adventurer who created it. Creation of a homunculus requires use of a properly equipped laboratory and the required training in the physiology skill. The physiological and ethereal bonds between an alchemist and its homunculus are so strong, the creature serves as the eyes and ears of its master. The Talisman of Greater Cultivation, a rare artefact from the Cauda Pavonis, increases the health and speed of the creature.
