Often invisible to the untrained eye, the Chaos entities summoned by practitioners of Domination - members of the Occultist and (less frequently) Outcast classes - can be some of the deadliest companions in Achaea.
Though once connected with the Chaos Plane, Lord Taug, Golgotha and Prince Pazuzu are no longer welcome there, and thus no bargains can be made with these three Chaos Lords through the abilities of Domination.
Abilities in Domination
Ability | Description |
Skyrax | Skyrax, the Skyscourge. |
When you call upon the aid of Skyrax, he will send you a whirling dervish, which, when you command it will knock your target from the skies or trees.
Rixil | Rixil, the spectre. |
Rixil, when summoned, will send to you a sycophant, which, when COMMANDed, will significantly increase the recovery time from your victim's next attempt to focus their mind.
Eerion | Eerion, the demon jester. |
When you summon Eerion, he will send to you a foul little gremlin, who will, when COMMANDed, shatter the magical shields surrounding your target. The more afflictions your victim labours under, the faster the attempt will be.
Arctar | Arctar, the Defender. |
Arctar, the Defender. Enigmatic, skilful, Guardian of the Chaos Throne. When you summon him, he will send to you a chaos orb. This orb may then be COMMANDed to explode, granting you a temporary defence against that which would harm you.
Scrag | Scrag, tender of the bloodleech pool. |
Scrag is the tender of the bloodleech pool in the Chaos Plane. He will assist you by sending bloodleeches to you. The leech may be COMMANDed to deliver afflictions of the body to your victim.
Pyradius | Pyradius, the firelord. |
Pyradius will send his firelord minions to assist you in battle. They are powerful indeed, able to convert any afflictions of the body that a victim may suffer from into diseases of the mind.
Golgotha | Jy'Barrak Golgotha, Emperor of Chaos. |
Jy'Barrak Golgotha, Emperor of Darkness is truly an awesome figure to behold, and the power he allows is equally awesome. When summoned, he shall grant you a portion of His power, defending your chaotic servants from the foul devotional rites and enchanted sigils for as long as they remain by your side. Note that dominating Golgotha gives you but one summoning, and it does not matter if you are generous, neutral, or mean when doing it. Only an offering of 10% karma will be sufficient.
Dameron | Dameron, chaos prince. |
Dameron is the Prince of Chaos. When summoned, he will send forth a chaos minion. When a chaos minion is in the room, none of your entities may be easily banished back to the realm of chaos.
Palpatar | Palpatar, the Glutton of Glaaki. |
When summoned, Palpatar will send to you a chaos worm. When COMMANDed to attack, the worm will infest your victim with its maggots, causing the next attempt to gain the heightened speed defence to be significantly inhibited.
Nin'Kharsag | Nin'Kharsag, the Slime Master. |
Summoning the Slime Lord will cause a chaos slime to be sent to you. When COMMANDed, it will envelop your victim and cause them to be unable to perceive what they are curing through inaccurate methods such as tree tattoos.
Istria | Istria, the pathfinder. |
When called upon, Istria, known as the Pathfinder, will send to you a pathfinder entity. Wherever you summon the pathfinder entity will be home to it. Later, you may simply ORDER PATHFINDER HOME to be taken back to where the pathfinder was summoned from.
Marduk | Marduk, the eater of souls. |
Marduk will send to you a soulmaster entity. This entity may be ordered to POSSESS an adventurer. When it does, it will take a few seconds to gain control of the victim's mind. Once it has done this, you may ORDER <adventurer> <command>. Doing this is quite difficult for the soulmaster though, so you will be restricted to doing it once every few seconds.
Nemesis | Nemesis. |
Nemesis will send to you a humbug. The humbug, when COMMANDed, will deliver various afflictions of the mind to your victim.
Buul | Buul, the Chaos Chirurgeon. |
When you call upon Buul for aid, he will send to you a chimera, which you may ride, and which may be COMMANDed to attack an opponent. When you do so, it will strip one of the defences protecting your victim.
Cadmus | Cadmus, the cursed shaman. |
Cadmus will, when summoned, send to you a bubonis entity, which can be COMMANDed to attack your target. If your unfortunate victim suffers from at least three afflictions from among haemophilia, clumsiness, sensitivity, healthleech, darkshade or lethargy, it will bring down a curse upon them. This curse will cause your unfortunate victim be struck down with a new physical affliction each time they attempt to focus their mind. The curse can only be cured by curing all other afflictions that your victim may suffer from.
Piridon | Piridon, the shapechanger. |
When you summon Piridon, he will send to you a doppleganger. The doppleganger will look like you, though it must be referred to as 'doppleganger'. The doppleganger is much different from other entities in that it may be remotely commanded. Actions:
Special note about channeling: the channel to your doppleganger is a two-way link, however briefly it may be in operation. Any backlash from an attack channeled through your doppleganger has a very high likelihood of continuing through that link and harming you directly.
Danaeus | Danaeus, the dark savant. |
Danaeus will send to you a Chaos Storm. You may command the storm to afflict your victim with vertigo.
Xenophage | Xenophage, keeper of the chaos gate. |
Xenophage will, when called upon, bring you instantly to the Chaos Plane. However, you must be on full health and mana to use this.
Lycantha | Lycantha, Keeper of the Hounds. |
Lycantha, Keeper of the Hounds, will send to you a chaos hound. This fearful beast can be COMMANDed to attack an adventurer, causing damage with its massive, tooth-filled maw. The more afflictions your victim suffers from, the more damage the hound will be capable of inflicting.
Tarotlink | Command your doppleganger to throw tarot cards. |
After giving a tarot card to your doppleganger, you'll be able to order it to charge and fling it remotely! Note that not all of the tarots can be used by the doppleganger. For instance: Death and Hermit, among others.
Hecate | Hecate, Mother of the Crones. |
Hecate will send to you a withered old crone. The crone when COMMANDed, can cause whispering madness to be incurable for a short time. The target must have at least five afflictions to be struck down by the crone.
Glaaki | Glaaki, the Eldritch Ascendant |
Ancient; formidable; greatest of the Chaos Lords. The Eldritch Ascendant is all of these and many things left best unspoken. Ruthlessly pragmatic, Glaaki tore his rule from the hands of those thought untouchable. Any who pact with him beware, for slights can fester a thousand years or more. To those granted his grace, the Ascendant shall bestow the use of one of his abominable servants. This avatar, when commanded to violate a victim whose aura has been made sufficiently vulnerable to external assault, shall determine the fundamental nature of the target and grant the occultist the greatest weapon of all; knowledge of their subject's true name.
