The Effigy of Victory was created as a sign of favour from the Logos. First introduced in the year 337 AF following Shallam's victory in a game of Capture the Flag, the Effigy has consequently been handed down to the victors in every subsequent CTF to date. Since Maya's ascendance as Supreme Creatrix of Achaea, the Effigy has become a testament of Her favour rather than that of Sarapis.
Although the Effigy serves one purpose as a tangible trophy of victory, it also confers an increase of 10% in experience gain to all citizens of the city that holds it.

*Although Shallam won the CTF in 335 AF, the actual, physical Effigy wasn't created and given until 337 AF.
**Shallam was destroyed in 612 AF, and the Effigy was submerged in the ruins beneath the Lemnian Sea for a time.
