Despite their small size, these birds are quite eye-catching. Most of their feathers are an emerald green, but both their wings and tail have streaks of white. Their bellies are buff-coloured, and their brow is adorned with a golden crest, their namesake. These tiny birds can be found in the Eastern Ithmia.
