Patriarch Deniar is a balding man of Dralhu Hryre who is largely concerned with history and scholastic pursuits. The eldest member of the village council, he is a descendant of the village founder. While a few members of his village think his obsession with history is unhealthy, he is largely well-thought of nonetheless. He is the uncle of Matriarch Trisa.
