The '''Marcella Library''' was a large library in southern [[Seleucar]], located just off '''Kephry Park Road''' and '''Red Stag Street'''. Named in honor of '''Severian|Severian Marcella''', it was a well-known place of scholarship in the imperial capital. During the [[Wars of Succession]] the library was the last stronghold for [[Catarin deSangre|Catarine]] forces in the Imperial city prior to the [[Battle of King's Tomb]] and the rediscovery of the [[Staff of Nicator]].
