The Outcast class is a modern term which refers to occultists who still wield Necromancy. Beginning in the Burning Times, nearly all occultists turned to death magic after the failure of the Eschaton Experiment and the loss of group karma. Wielding the skills of Necromancy, Tarot, and Domination, they followed Lord Luxsyth and came to comprise the body of the modern Occultist guild.
When Shakti, Silverstorm, and Saruman completed the Eschaton Experiment, restoring Occultism to Occultists everywhere, those who refused the old ways were removed from the Occultists Guild, earning them the title of Outcast.
