'''Deneen, the aristocrat''', lived in [[Shallam]] for countless years. For an extended period of time, he seemingly vanished off the face of [[Sapience]] for reasons unknown. He returned later, tired but looking no worse for the wear. He did not speak much about his past, but was known to wonder aloud if it was all a dream. Dressed in flowing blue and gold silk trousers and a resplendent shirt of blue and silver, Deneen was the picture of old Shallamese aristocracy before its invasion. He is presumed to have drowned in the subsequent flood.
