Unless they've changed their city-guardian to something else in the mean time, it's still their city-guardian. Otherwise your going to be switching it back and forth all the time. You're getting recat happy. Corvax 15:10, 15 October 2007 (GMT)

:I'm just saying, if they don't resummon it, can something dead still be considered a "city guardian"? The ruling was, for instance, that dead "denizens" arn't denizens anymore, solely historical figures. And as per the explanation on dracolich, all city guardians are denizens. --Krypton 20:30, 15 October 2007 (GMT)
::Articles in the Historical Figures category are more or less permanently out of the interactive picture. When a denizen dies (i.e. you hunt it), that does not make it a historical figure, e.g. when you kill Belladona, she does not become a historical figure. The same applies to resummonable entities such as city guardians and the Spawn. Similarly, being dead does not change the nature of the entity, that is, if Asara died, she's still Asara. Same goes with city guardians. Asara 00:28, 16 October 2007 (GMT)
