Description:

Constructed of solid granite swathed in lush mosses, the Icon of the Verdant Plinth, the pride of the Ancient Circle of Druids, crowns the landscape. Greenery encompasses the imposing pyramid of stone as it towers twelve feet above the earth, dominating the surrounding ruins while nestling amongst the trees. Herbs and tiny violets rise heavenward from crevices, anchored beyond sight. Where once firm steps marked the edges, time and the elements have worn them down, revealing a gentle slope. Nature has supplanted the remains of the past, reasserting Her dominance. A perfect circle has been etched into the earth around it, the Plinth itself set on a slab of obsidian.
