During the Trial of Rebirth, newbies are taught brawling, an ability in the skill of Survival. The basics of hand-to-hand combat, brawling allows an adventurer to punch, kick, or headslam his or her opponents when no other class skills or weapons are available.
In particular, the punching aspect to brawling becomes more powerful with the use of the metal knuckles artefact.
