			Constructed from the exoskeleton of a [[Horkval]], the '''chitin greaves''' are simple, if not ingenious, in their design. Comprised of two plates of the insectoid [[:Category:Adventurer races\|race's]] natural body armour, the greaves are designed to fit firmly over the calf and thigh of the wearer. The two sections are held together by a set of preserved tendons threaded between them. The tendons simultaneously hold the greaves taunt yet add a touch of bounce. When worn, these greaves grant their wearer the ability to leap like a Horkval. As with many other [[artefact\|artefacts]], the greaves may be purchased from [[Merentesh\|Merentesh's]] [[The Miscellaneous Artefact Shop\|artefact shop]] in [[Delos]].
