Hingar, a Vertani diplomat of House Kortul, served as the primary messenger between Achaeans and Vertani, and was instrumental in furthering communication amongst the two cultures, most notably via the public newsboards. He was slain in battle at the Vertani fortress in the Dardanic Grasslands in Mayan of 389.
