Isildur, the Iceman was originally a renowned Occultist before he gave up his evil ways for the life of a Paladin. In the Year 200 and its events, he became the first in two centuries to win and hold aloft the coveted Staff of Nicator. Eventually, he became a Vizier of Shallam and its first Sultan, as well as the first Archprelate of the Church. At one time, he was the richest mortal in Achaean history.
The remains of Isildur are now entombed in a mausoleum within Matsuhama's temple, the Halls of Combat.
