Emre Nikain Ironhand was the Supreme of the Mannaseh Trolls during the rise of the Seleucarian Empire, presumably a time when the Kasmarkin senate was not yet an established form of government. In response to Severian's offering of cleavers of stainless carbon steel, Emre Nikain Ironhand pledged to support Nicator's cause with his troll forces.
