Daqsool

Daqsool is the name of a Vertani commander who was banished from the Vertani home world due to internal politics and fled to the Prime Material Plane, along with his contingent of Vertani. He was housed in one of the Vertani Fortresses, but when Hingar and Overlord Mournria were slain in a very decisive battle, they came out of the fortress to a group of Shallamese, asking for amnesty. He sought sanctuary for him and his troops in Shallam, where he was welcomed and housed in the Palace, and in return told the Shallamese much about what was happening in the Vertani home world, where there were very divisive pro-war and anti-war factions. After the Ashtan-Mhaldor alliance destroyed the last fortress and in doing so destroyed the last remaining portal to the Vertani home world, the Logos Himself appeared, and asked the Overseer of Ashtan, Erhon, and the Tyrannus of Mhaldor, Khoraji, to decide the fate of the last remaining Vertani in our world. The decision was that they would be allowed to remain and build a village for themselves. Sarapis gave them the gift of ressurection, and after many years of planning and preparing, he announced to the world that he had found a spot of unoccupied land that he was planning to settle in. Daqsool and the rest of the Vertani can now be found in Tir Murann, which is nestled in the Dakhota Hills.
