A patron, sometimes known more formally as a divine patron, is the god watching over a person or organisation. In the case of an organisation, the patron is responsible for providing guidance, overseeing the organisation's affairs, and providing representation within the Garden. This patron's name can be viewed on the organisation's respective help file, usually HELP <organisation>. In the case of an individual mortal, a patron is the deity of the Divine Order they have joined.
