Tucked away amidst the rolling dales of the [[Sarave Foothills]] is the valley of '''Squall Cleft'''. For centuries, this geographic formation has remained hidden within the Northern [[Vasnari Mountains]] from all but the native [[rajamala]] tribe that make it their home. However, due to the efforts of a solitary traveller interested in the secluded society, a navigable path was created in 712 AF.

Though the '''Akubi''' live in relative peace, it is said that locale's regular storms bear nightmares alongside their tearing winds; it would be wise to never be caught within the horrors of the passing gale.

==Flora and Fauna==
Stags and fawns roam the grassy valley along with grey rabbits. The prosaic atmosphere is dispelled during times of storms which give the valley its name; thunderous rains herald hydroform monstrosities which roam the boulder-strewn slopes wreaking destruction upon anything and anyone they find.

==Culture==
The tattooed rajamala that live in the valley have been secluded from the rest of civilization until recently. Far from hostile to outsiders, they are friendly to visitors. Instead of using [[gold sovereigns]] they barter using peculiar rocks. During the violent storms in the valley they take refuge in nearby caves.
