'''Sea hags''' are terrifying sea creatures with deceptive, [[siren]]-like faces surrrounded by swirling masses of thick green-black tentacles which high above the [[ocean]] waves. The obscene bulk of a sea hag is vast beyond measurement, receding down beneath the surface in a monstrous black shape that has no visible end. Many-fanged mouths gape open all along their flanks, interspersed between thick tentacles many [[ship]] lengths long. Sea hags attack vessels by gnashing at their hulls and screaming otherworldly howls which resemble violent storms, lightning and thunder crackling in fearsome frenzy.
