The '''Lesser Shrine of [[Vastar]]''' was a nunnery which also housed an exclusive girls' academy around the time of the [[Wars of Succession]]. It was here that [[Catarin deSangre]] roomed for three years with both [[Castomira Brangwin]], the Duchess of [[Aster Malik]], and [[Riana Galford]], second daughter of the Earl of [[Jaru]], during their childhoods.

After the cataclysm which followed the fall of the [[Seleucarian Empire]], a band of survivors took refuge in the ruins of the academy, renaming it the [[Seat of Vastar]].
