Skill ranks

Skill ranks, also called skill levels, indicate your degree of competence in a skill. The higher your skill rank, the more competent you are in that skill. Skill levels range from inept, knowing nothing about a skill, to transcendent, having learned all there is to know about a skill. The skill ranks are:

1. Inept

2. Novice

3. Apprentice

4. Capable

5. Adept

6. Skilled

7. Gifted

8. Expert

9. Virtuoso

10. Fabled

11. Mythical

12. Transcendent

Raising your skill rank requires spending lessons at a tutor. You can use SHOW LESSONS LEFT IN <skill> at any time to see how many lessons remain until you reach transcendence.
