Turtles

The various turtle species of Achaea can mostly be found in aquatic and marine environments. These largely vegetarian reptiles are noted for their protective, bony carapaces and vary in size from the small green turtles of Lake Narcisse to the giant land tortoises of Zanzibaar. Turtle meat is considered a delicacy in some parts of the world, such as the plains village of Tomacula.

Giant sea turtles
Sea turtles are seen in various coastal regions, including the Eastern Shore, Sea Lion Cove, and the bay of New Hope. Their broad flippers are suited for life in the sea.
Giant tortoises
Considered quite exotic, these land turtles can be found roaming about the island kingdom of Zanzibaar, where they are domesticated as mounts.
Green turtles
These small, freshwater turtles glide slowly in the distant waters of Lake Narcisse.
Ivory Bloomback turtles
These sea turtles are only found in the deep ocean. They are four feet long and have mosaic-patterned ivory flippers. Most notable about them is the plethora of vibrant, flower-like sea anemones which commonly make their home atop their shells.
Polka-dotted turtles
These strange turtles once sprinted from place to place within the Tier of Confusion in the Erisian Pyramid.
Yellow-bellied turtles
Yellow-bellied turtles, like their Narcissian cousins, are freshwater, and populate the waters of Lake Vundamere.
