This article is about the former House. For other uses, please see Luminai (disambiguation).

The Luminai were founded along with the Dawnblade and Harbingers under the watchful eyes of the Bloodsworn Gods. The House believed that knowledge was power: the key to Enlightenment. Tracing its roots to the ancient sect, modern day Luminai philosophy taught that truth is revealed through enlightenment, leading to the triumph of Good over Evil, Darkness, and Chaos. Their commitment to the gathering, analysis, and dissemination of data made them indispensable for the success of Targossas in information warfare.

Founding and Dissolution

The Luminai were founded by Aldair d'Vast in 649 AF. In 834 AF a series of mysterious quakes triggered a tsunami which swept across Targossas. The great wave was broken by the Lightbringer, but not before it toppled the Luminai tower, the Eye of Dawn, closing the House for good.
