Star-shot is a unit of ship ammunition which, when fired from an onager, causes adequate damage to personnel and minor damage to hull and sails of a target ship. Star-shot consists of five flat bands of heavy iron joined in a star shape about a bundle of wooden rods and, when coated with dragon's tears, will cause the target ship to catch fire on impact.
When fired at sea monsters, starshot will slow the creature's attack speed for a short time.
