Spider-shot is a unit of ship ammunition which, when fired from an onager, can tangle in the rigging of a target ship, rendering its sails useless. Spider-shot consists of seven bits of long rope weighted with scraps of iron and, when coated with dragon's tears, will cause the target ship to catch fire.
