Smoking is the act of drawing out the inner properties of an herb by burning it in a pipe and breathing the smoke. A tinderbox is necessary to begin the process.
Smoking the various herbs of Achaea can produce a range of effects. Smoking skullcap will create an aura of rebounding around an individual, while smoking valerian or elm will cure a variety of afflictions.
As a recreational drug, cactus weed may be smoked for a hallucinogenic effect.
