Simbata, an old elephant, can be found wandering the gardens of Paradise Park in Shallam and relentlessly snuffling the ground in search of something to eat. Though his tusks are broken and his hide is grey and mottled, this elderly pachyderm is nonetheless a vision of extraordinary strength, his massive form heavily muscled.
