At the Coming of the Morning Star, two Gods were created: Apollyon and Aurora. The Elder God Shaitan attacked and absorbed the essence of Apollyon, and afterwards declared himself a new God: Sartan, God of Evil.

Nearly two centuries later, with the assistance of Keresis, Goddess of Vengeance, Sartan once again split his essence into the original two Gods.
