Phials hold the various compounds crafted by an Alchemist skilled in Formulation. They differ from vials in that they are (generally) designed to be stoppered and thrown, rather than sipped or applied for healing. A variety of different mixtures can be placed inside, creating phials of toxic gases which can be thrown into groups of enemies, to helpful concoctions that, when imbibed, will bolster the creator's offensive and defensive capabilities. Empty phials are a general essential for achelmy, and are sold by Rurin, or can be purchased in various denizen shops.

A reforming phial is an artefact version of this.
