Paralysis is a fairly well-known affliction amongst Achaeans, causing the muscles of the victim to lock up and become unresponsive. Notorious for their ability to cause paralysis are zombies, basilisks, and the Serpent-classed adventurers, using the curare venom. In order to cure paralysis, one should eat a leaf of the bloodroot plant.
