White-clad Bairn Muurn, the Crimson Numen is the red-eyed spirit of both Lake Muurn and the Muurn River. The monstrosity Khulhedra serves as Muurn's faithful guardian. The three-foot cherubic-looking spirit dons pantyhose over her pudgy legs and a white bow ties back bloodstained, blonde ringlets.

History

During the Eternal Night eclipse, she appeared along the Aalen shoreline. Her presence startled the ferryman Nolan into his boat, where he was then swept out to a stormy, squid-infested sea; his rescue led to the discovery of Ka'doloki.

Muurn later appeared wandering the streets of Cyrene, complaining about blood raining from the sky. It was speculated that her concerns were the result of sacrificial offerings made by a local priest on top of the Lake Muurn lighthouse.

In the year 800, during the third Black Wave, the spirit was instrumental in the recapture of the Heart of the Vashnars, flooding the streets of Cyrene and drowning the guardsmen who had fell under the sway of the Tsol'teth Litany of Obedience, setting the stage for the recapturing of the Heart of the Vashnars from the Tsol'teth occupation.
