Monkshood is a venom that afflicts its victims with disfigurement far worse than any Mayaween mask could, causing their loyal entities or mounts to turn against them, disobey orders, and possibly attack. Only Baalzadeens and guardian angels are immune against such disloyalty, possibly because the strength of the bond between them and their adventurers transcends that of physical recognition. This affliction is cured by smoking a valerian leaf.
