Keresis, Goddess of Vengeance is often seen as the avatar of plotting and revenge. Her realm embodies both passionate rage and the cold-hearted retribution. Her presence can be that of a raging inferno, or a cold, inconspicuous plot; Her idea of a perfect act of revenge is the systematic destruction of the mind, body, and soul.

History

She was once a Dreadlord of the Elder God Shaitan who fought at His side in the Chaos Wars, but through various means has gained the power to rise as a God in Her own right. Centuries later after Her ascension, was called to return the favour She owed Shaitan. She performed the Sundering, splitting the God Sartan into Shaitan and Apollyon. Since then She has embraced their cause of Evil, bringing Vengeance alongside Suffering and Oppression.

In the year 617 AF, Bal'met not wanting to listen to Sartan or Keresis anymore decided with his Dala'myrr and Oymmr to assault Mhaldor, which the once help guard. Sartan realizing what was happening had a plan already in store for when this happened and with the help of Keresis help open a portal to the realm, Nishatobia and helped dragged Bal'met into it. With Sartan not able to hold the portal open any longer bid Keresis to escape, but with the Dala'myrr halting her path at every attempt she couldn't and was left on Nishtobia, with moments later all of Sapience heard her scream as her life was cut short as by being engulfed by Bal'met

The Chosen of Keresis

Those who desire to obtain entrance into Her order must understand and embrace Vengeance as not simply a means to an end, but a way of life. The Chosen must see Vengeance from all sides and seek to understand its myriad facets. All aspirants must try to grasp what revenge means to them, and be able to temper their natural instincts in favour of the bigger picture.

Divine Symbols

Her Divine symbol is of a sword pointing down with a large python twisting around the blade. Perched upon the pommel of the blade is a large crow with its wings outspread.
