Hyenas are native to the deserts of Sapience, powerful scavengers with strong jaws that have a nasty bite. Usually not known to start violent encounters, they are known to be harsh fighters when confronted, though, especially those that reside within the Lupine Hunting Grounds. This trait is vital to their use as malign battle companions.
