Buckets are small, metal containers often used for holding water. Some fishing sheds sell bait buckets which are capable of holding more than just bait and fish.

One of the original purposes of buckets was to hold blood from both butchered adventurers and denizens in order to either help or hinder shrines. However, blood is no longer used to sanctify or defile shrines as corpses are now utilised directly. Buckets were also frequently used to pour blood over the Falls landmark to produce essence for Necromancers before Landmarks were replaced with today's Icons.
