The Catarine Defender was the mighty blade of Lord Damen Kephry, with which he cleared a path for Princess Catarin deSangre through enemy Seleucar lines, slaying thousands of Castomira's Royal Elites. The sword passed down through the generations to the scion of Aster Malik, Davis Kephry, in whose hands it became later named the Bringer of Tears.
