A Shaman in a bar one night had got himself quite drunk,

and started bragging loudly to an even drunker Monk,

"With one little finger I can inflict a dozen different harms,

yet you can only break things with the power in your arms,

with just a thought and gesture this finger could curse you oh so quick,

it could make you clumsy or reckless or make your guts run thick."

It was at this point the Monk did raise his head,

"I could beat you easily." were all the words he said.

Now filled with rage the Shaman glared and raised his mystic finger,

I assure you sir that when I'm done, your pain will forever linger.

The words were hardly past his lips when he released a mighty curse,

but the Monk was faster still, the pain he inflicted was so much worse.

His hand reached quickly and with a grinding crack,

that mystic finger instead of pointed forward now was pointed back.

Now the Monk stood tall and proud and said "I remain in perfect health",

while from the floor the Shaman yelled "You bastard, you made me curse myself."
