After the [[Basilican choir]] disappeared with the dissolution of the [[Holy Church|Church]], the '''Te'Serran Academy''' opened to care for the [[orphans]] of the streets of [[Shallam]]. Named for the [[Te'Serra]] and established in the southern wing of the [[Citadel of Light]], it was presided over by [[Earda]], the Te'Serran Sage. Rather being collected with candies or candles, children could be encouraged to enroll in the academy by presenting them with books.
