Recklessness is caused in a variety of ways, including the venom eurypteria. Those inflicted with recklessness will be so caught up in their heroism that they will be blind to just how low their health or mana levels might become. Ophidians are notorious for causing this affliction, which is cured by eating a lobelia seed.
