The Muses of Scarlatti are seen as sources of inspiration in the Arts. They are often viewed as the epitome of their fields.

The Muses had previously taken the form of forest spirits, choosing to mimic these gentle souls of Nature, but have now returned home to the Temple of Scarlatti. The true Muses are:

  • Charise, the Flourishing, the Muse of Comedy
  • Felixande, the Giver of Pleasure, the Muse of Song
  • Ferenthal, the Radiant, the Muse of Lightweaving
  • Honorare, the Whirler, the Muse of Dance
  • Kyrica, the Heavenly, the Muse of Visual Artistry
  • Morraine, She of Many Hymns, the Muse of Music
  • Myrnma, the Spirit of Tragedy, the Muse of Tragedy
  • Rennibrande, the Proclaimer, the Muse of History
  • Sharnya, the Fair Voiced, the Muse of Storytelling
  • Vivania, the Lovely, the Muse of Poetry

The Muses are inspiration for the Tome of Muses artefact.
