The death of Ty Beirdd's Tutor, Una Brau, left the entire House in shock. These

two poems are written to honour her memory, and may Lord Thoth keep her soul

safe.

The Night the Garden Fell

The night the Garden fell

To Hrakken's violent screams

We bade Una Farewell

No way we could foretell

Not even in our dreams

The night the Garden fell

His pain we could not quell

There was no end it seems

We bade Una Farewell

It was a living hell

For those trapped beneath the beams

The night the garden fell

Now things are doing well

And Riordan's joined the team

We bade Una Farewell

And in this villanelle

Their memory reigns supreme

The night the Garden fell

We bade Una farewell

Ode to Una

I remember when I first met you

And you said you had much work to do

And I thought, 'Well I can't be that bad'

When of course, my condition was really sad

Though we'd joke at your silly name

We always knew we had you to blame

For the lessons we learned over many years

Your death has shed us many tears

A toast to you, dear Una Brau

Our tutor for so long

Yes Una, we do know 'twas you

That kept us going strong

Just so you know, the day you died

That old sap Sam sure weeped and cried

The Manor fell, and the Garden too

But we all managed to survive

Dear Una Brau, you taught us well

I learned everything from you, and hell

Riordan's great but he can't come a mile

To your speed, variety and style

A toast to you, dear Una Brau

Wherever you may be

We'll sing of you for ages yet

With joy and reverie
