The Gauntlet on Targossas' isle of Greathorn is the city's arena, with such creative innovations as catapults and trap doors to surprise combatants and allow use of unusual strategem in battle. It opened in 629 AF, just before the first Festival of Dawn which commemorated the founding of the city and kicked off with championship tourney within the arena's shifting walls.
