Shrines on Parchment: Lady Keresis

"The smooth ebony scales carved upon this life-like statue of a colossal black-marble python shimmer with an amethyst glow. The source of the light is found in a smouldering violet flame which is clasped between the razor-sharp fangs of the statue's gaping mouth. Creating an aura of heatless fire around the shrine, the flame licks at the air like the forked tongue of its protector. Erupting from the ground like a mythological beast, the python's splendour merely in marble states irrevocably why Keresis, Goddess of Vengeance has chosen this amazing beast as one of Her divine symbols. A modest shrine compared to other deities, the flame of Vengeance that sizzles here is undeniable, burning for those who have felt its intoxicating power."
