Mhaldor is the home for me,
Swore my oath on bended knee,
Slaving little villains know,
Faithful work makes power grow.

Family may think me scum,
Former friends my foes become,
Ties that bind my Truth transcends,
Evil starts where weakness ends.

Lies and candy oft are sweet,
Often found where strangers meet,
Weakness spreads from mouth to ear,
Grant me hawthorn not to hear.

Lycopods stand in my way,
Predators become the prey,
Glancing shows me where they lie,
Lessons learned or, doomed, I die.

Spiteful, mean and overgrown,
Tripping traps that knock me prone,
When they do I stand once more,
Fit for battle, keen for war.

When my brow in furrow knits,
And Frustration tries my wits,
To my tutors then I turn,
They are wise when they are stern.

Ignorance is naught to fear,
Though tuition costs me dear,
Study and with dawn arise,
Soaring heart and bleeding eyes.

Little villains also teach,
Short, my grasp, but not my reach,
Mountain children, born to climb,
Bless us, Lords, with strength and time.
